Magnuson Christian School is looking for a part-time Middle School Teacher for grades 6-8 for the 2025-2026 school year. As a Christian school committed to academic excellence and faith formation, we are looking for an educator who will develop the whole child-heart, soul, mind, and body.
:Science is the process of exploring and explaining the processes, structures, designs, and systems that make up our natural and human-made world. In Science, all students engage in practices including making observations, developing and revising models, and analyzing and interpreting data to answer scientific questions and design solutions to problems. Responsibilities:
- Teach middle school science curriculum to assigned classrooms
- Develop engaging lesson plans that meet academic standards and promote critical thinking, integrating Christian values into lessons.
- Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and faith-based activities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject required
- State teaching license
- Previous teaching experience with middle-school-aged students preferred.
