Housekeeper

Magnuson Grand Pikes Peak Hotel is currently hiring a Housekeeper for our team. We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to details. To create a clean and orderly environment for our guests. Must be able to multi-task and prioritizes with excellent customer service while maintaining a positive respectful guest relation at all times. Needs to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, holidays and special events.

Job Functions:

• · Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• · Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• · Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• · Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• · Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• · Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• · Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• · Ability to maintain a high level of performance
• · Customer-oriented and friendly
• · Prioritization and time management skills
• · Working quickly without compromising quality
• · Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter tops, and sinks
• · Making beds and changing linens
• · Washing windows
• · Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• · Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• · Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• · Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• · Steaming and cleaning draperies
• · Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

· Positive, energetic personality, willingness to learn and commitment to support and advance the image and reputation of the hotel.

Qualifications:

• · Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• · Ability to multi task
• · Ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs.
• Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling, crouch, and kneeling while cleaning
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be flexible in hours and days available to work. Work shifts vary by day and week and depending upon business needs.
• Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
• Work quickly without compromising quality
• Ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
