What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Flagger position at Mago Construction Company?
Positions will start April 2025
Mago Construction Company is a family-owned asphalt paving contractor based out of Bardstown, KY with asphalt plants, two rock quarries, and construction operations throughout the state of Kentucky.
We seek to add a flagger to our milling crew. Flaggers are responsible for controlling the flow of traffic around road construction sites. Flaggers must inform the construction crew of any safety hazards. Additionally, flaggers may set up or assist in the setup of signage and traffic control devices, such as cones, barrels, and barricades.
No experience is required; we will provide in-house training and traffic control certification, although previous experience in traffic control would be a plus.
Musts: be reliable and timely; able to work outside in differing conditions of weather and stand for extended periods of time; represent the company well and interact with the traveling public; pay attention to details.
