What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quarry Worker position at Mago Construction Company?
White Stone Company seeks a reliable, safety-conscious person to fill an entry-level position at our Hardinsburg Quarry. Experience a plus, but no experience required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General plant/mining labor and clean-up of production areas, assist with plant/mining operations.
Training in other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences and increased production demand times.
Assist with maintenance work.
Learn to operate equipment such as skid steers. Previous equipment operating and/or outside work would be a plus.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management.
Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.50 per hour
