Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Collaborate with team members to lead projects related to facility improvements and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and materials used.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective collaboration within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to electrical systems and general maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Ability to fabricate components or parts as necessary for repairs or enhancements.
