Job summary
- Responsible for performing diversified simple-to- complex duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Summary of essential job functions
- Perform simple-to-complex duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide assistance for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform fabrication and welding duties
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Minimum requirements
- Requires a high school diploma/GED and experience in Industrial Maintenance, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
- Technical or Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- Strong welding skills
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
- Starting pay flexible based on demonstrated skillset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
