ISO: A Full-Time energetic and reliable individual to join our team as a Call Center Receptionist. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking patients in, answering incoming calls, evaluating and servicing patient needs, and keeping accurate records within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Our Front Desk Reception is often the first impression of our practice for our patients. We are interested in hiring individuals with a commitment to outstanding patient care and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
Responsibilities
- Answer multiline telephone, assist callers with questions, schedule appointments using online software and distribute calls in a professional manner
- Identifying customers' needs, clarify information, research issues and provide direction
- Keeping records of all conversations in our patient database in a comprehensible way
- Obtaining and entering personal, financial and insurance information into the electronic medical records system
Requirements for Position
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Patient focus and adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- High level of professionalism; Neat in appearance and well groomed
- Good organization skill; and a self-starter
- Able to work effectively with other team members as well as function independently
