What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Assembler / Coil Winder position at Magtrol, Inc.?
ASSEMBLY DEPARTMENT - GENERAL ASSEMBLER / COIL WINDER
Looking for a mechanically inclined individual to support the assembly department. Prior experience is not necessary, but is a plus.
Job duties may include:
· Working from prints and schematics, completes light and heavy mechanical and/or electronic components sub-assembly and assembly of a variety of units.
· Operate coil winding equipment.
· Fits and assembles component parts and sub-assemblies to complete unit in accordance with specifications.
· Understands bearing fits and functions, lubricates as required.
· Does final assembly of hysteresis and friction units as required.
· Completes final testing of finished product to ensure quality standards are within given specifications.
· Able to operate drill press, hand press, coil winder and other small machines in assembly.
