What we need
MAHAR is seeking warehouse clerks to join our team in Warsaw, IN. You must be accountable, willing to cross train, and have a customer service mentality.
What MAHAR warehouse clerks will do
- Perform work including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks, order-picking and packing, receiving and storage of inventory and supplies
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Check, count and may account for items within containers; verify accurate count of incoming or outgoing materials and merchandise
- Maintain good housekeeping and reports on any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment; reports fire or safety hazards to the Warehouse Manager
- When required to perform deliveries, follow assigned scheduling; makes every effort to ensure that deliveries are on time as scheduled
- Cross-train on in-plant crib attendant role and be willing to work an alternate schedule to cover absences
The Schedule You’ll Work
Monday – Friday DAY SHIFT 1-hour lunch
Occasional off-shift or weekend work to cover absences – No regular overtime – Excellent work-life balance
Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; must be able to obtain and maintain a valid chauffer’s license and DOT medical card and have a satisfactory driving record; forklift experience preferred; ability to maintain positive working relationships; basic knowledge of computers and MS Office; must submit to and pass drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist in lifting 135 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to read small print on labels and boxes
Must be able to lift, bend and climb on a regular basis
