JOB SUMMARY:
With general supervision, inspects all incoming Maharam & Knoll Textile products, including upholstery, wallcovering, window covering, leather, and rugs and other products on QA Inspection Hold
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Inspects all upholstery fabrics or wall covering on QA Inspection Hold
Inspects select international / consignment orders prior to shipping
Inspects all sample replacement orders
Inspects all Quality returns (RA’s) from the field
Enters detailed inspection report information on all orders inspected
Physically lifts and/or moves all bolts required to perform inspection
Maintains, cleans, and washes down test wall
Maintains and keep test hang area clean
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of defect nomenclature
Know how to run inspection frame
Know how to operate high/low
Work independently
Good sense of color and must be able to differentiate between shades of the same color
Must be able to recognize variation in color / shade, and will be tested on their ability to discern color / shade variation within the same pattern
Must be physically able to lift bolts of fabric and wall coverings
The candidate will be trained in current ERP system and will need to perform their QA Inspections within this system
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

A starting compensation range for this role is $18.10 - $23.03. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
