- Housing Support:
- Manage inquiries and concerns from residents regarding housing assignments, room changes, and maintenance requests.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of repair requests.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of communication-related to housing policies and events.
- Mailroom Operations:
- Manage the reception, sorting, and distribution of mail and packages to students and staff.
- Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations and university policies.
- Provide customer service to resolve issues related to mail delivery and dispatch.
- Administrative Duties:
- Perform clerical duties including filing, answering phone calls, and managing email correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to housing and mailroom operations.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and reorder, as necessary.
- Financial Administration:
- Assist in the processing of invoices and payments related to housing and mailroom operations.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that housing and mailroom operations comply with university policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
- Participate in training and safety drills to maintain preparedness for emergency situations.
- 3 - 5 years previous experience in administrative support, preferably in an educational or housing/mailroom setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Must be able to lift twenty pounds at a time.
