Job Summary:
The Program Director (Wellness & Sports) is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all wellness & sports programs and services within the YMCA. This position involves overseeing fitness & wellness and sports programs, managing staff, ensuring member satisfaction, and promoting healthy living in the community. The Program Director also plays a critical role in staff training, managing budgets, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We're Looking for an Enthusiastic Leader Like You! 🎯
Are you ready to make an impact? Here’s what we’re looking for:
✅ Age & Experience: Must be 21 or older with YMCA experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or 3-5 years of relevant experience) is ideal.
🩺 Stay Prepared: Must have current CPR, AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification—or be ready to get certified!
🛡 Commit to Safety: Complete Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff within 30 days of hire.
📋 Organized & Efficient: Ability to plan, organize, and maintain records to keep programs running smoothly.
👥 Strong Leadership Skills: Must be able to train, supervise, and evaluate staff while effectively managing programs.
🤗 People Person: A warm, friendly personality and a love for interacting with members is a must!
🏋️ Bonus Points: Certified personal trainer? That’s a huge plus!
