As a dedicated Team Member, you are a vital member of the Fazoli's team who is also learning and developing the essential skills to advance your career. You will work closely with your management team and crew to ensure the success of your Fazoli’s Restaurant. In order to fulfill this important role successfully you will need the following :

Responsibilities
A Fazoli's prep master is a kitchen staff member primarily responsible for washing and preparing all the ingredients needed for cooking by the cooks, ensuring food safety standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized work area by following prep lists created by chefs; this often includes tasks like washing produce, cutting meats, and portioning ingredients for efficient service.
- Ingredient preparation : Washing and portioning vegetables, fruits, meats, and other food items as per recipes.
- Preparing foods : Preparing pizzas, breadsticks, salads, and other foods that are in high demand.
- Food safety compliance : Adhering to proper food handling practices, including proper knife techniques, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.
- Stock management : Labeling and storing ingredients correctly, rotating stock to ensure freshness.
- Following prep lists : Accurately following prep lists created by management to ensure the correct quantities and specifications of ingredients are prepared.
- Basic cooking tasks : May include tasks like marinating meats, making simple sauces, or preparing basic side dishes.
- Communication with cooks : Communicating with cooks about ingredient availability and any issues that may arise during prep.
Starting pay ranges between $10.00 - $12.00 per hour and is dependent on experience and availability.
