Here are some key responsibilities associated with the position: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the national spare parts sales strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and devise strategies to maximize revenue generation from spare parts sales. Sales Management: Manage and lead a team of spare parts sales professionals. Set sales targets, provide coaching and training, and monitor individual and team performance. Develop sales forecasts and strategies to achieve revenue goals. Pricing and Profitability: Determine pricing strategies for spare parts based on market analysis, competitive landscape, and cost considerations. Monitor price levels and margins to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Analyze pricing trends and adjust as needed. Spare Parts Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure optimal spare parts inventory levels. Forecast demand, monitor stock levels, and implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealerships. Identify customer needs, provide product information, and offer customized spare parts solutions to meet their requirements. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations to ensure high customer satisfaction. Sales Analytics and Reporting: Collect and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to generate insights and reports. Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with marketing teams and regional teams, to develop marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive spare parts sales. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and work with marketing to create relevant promotional materials and initiatives. Supplier and Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with spare parts suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing and terms, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure timely and quality delivery of spare parts. Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize supplier relationships. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to spare parts sales and revenue generation. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost reduction. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
