TITLE : Production Control Specialist
LOCATION : Pontiac, MI
DIRECT REPORTS : 0 people
FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO : Manager – Plant Operations
Function : This person will be reporting Manager – Plant Operations for daily production and inventory control activities.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks :
- Reconciles production declarations within SAP ensuring transactions are accurate and complete.
- Process SAP repair work orders for materials consumed by the operations repair team.
- Ensure accurate and timely goods receipts for incoming material, including supplier ASN’s, invoices, and related documents.
- Primary responsibility for timely reconciliation and approval of invoices for direct materials received into the facility using SAP and the A5 approval system.
- Resolve discrepancies or variances in supplier paperwork, including quantity, pricing, and material accuracy, from the time of goods receipt.
- Complete SAP stock transfer orders (STO) based on goods movement between the after-sales parts warehouse and satellite distribution centers.
- Transact product returns from dealers via SAP goods receipt.
- Work with accounting and operations teams to support product cycle counts, including transactions to reconcile variances to serial and non-serial inventory.
- Prepares reports and maintains established KPIs and tracking documents for the operations team, as assigned.
- Process requisitions for procurement of indirect materials or services supporting plant operations.
