What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibration Co-op position at Mahle Engine Components Usa, Inc.?
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- Support and plan Engine Calibration Development and Testing
- Conduct chassis / engine emission testing activities, including detailed analysis of test results
- Optimize calibrations to achieve tailpipe emissions, FE and drivability targets
- Prepare technical reports, and presentations
- Work with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to adapt, integrate and work well with others is essential
- Maintain a specialist working knowledge of new technologies as appropriate to the role
- Observe all safety rules and regulations. Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of
others around the work area

YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
o Internal combustion engines and testing techniques
o Vehicle testing in lab or dyno environmet
o Engine Management Systems (EMS) principles
o Calibration tools and processes
o On-Board Diagnostics (OBD)
o Automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
o Script writing capabilities for data reduction and analysis
o Matlab / Simulink
