At Mahle Engine Components Usa, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrically driven AC compressors, a mechatronic product essential for future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains.
The position contributes to the electrical compressor development activity by design and validation of electric AC compressors. Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing AC compressor components in collaboration with a team of engineers and designers, focusing on the electronics portion of the compressor.
Developing validation programs for OEM customers to ensure successful launch of their programs.
Participating in innovation, product cost, and quality improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in design and/or development of mechanical or mechanically driven rotational devices; 5 years of experience is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in pre-development, testing, and/or validation.
Automotive industry experience is a plus.
