Summary
Coordinates daily activities of quality auditors, training, and processes compliance within the departments at MAHLE Olive Branch plant to ensure processes are determined and followed internally focusing on quality results to all MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. customers for the global aftermarket.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Implement & maintain internal processes audits to confirm compliance in all areas of the plant and identify opportunities to improve processes
Monitor audits results daily and report to plant management
Submit Quality Alert on audits findings and follow-up on reaction plan to improve the process effectiveness to close the loop
Develop work instructions & procedures with the areas and support training associates and new employees on instructions
Maintain skills matrix records of all operations and production employees concerning training needs in all areas on work instructions and procedures, including EHS training needs
Inform and follow-up all areas of the plant on trainings to be completed according to plan and skill matrix
Work with Quality Manager to align facility practices with those of MAHLE QM
Assist quality manager to maintain ISO9001:2015 quality management system. Serve as internal auditor
Responsible for maintaining Calibration Program, Document Control, Corrective Action Requests
Provide feedback to manager on quality problems. Maintain communication of pertinent details between departments.
Work closely with Quality Manager to monitor performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports.
Employee duties are not limited to those stated above, but are inclusive of any tasks assigned by manager.
Complies with Company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES: This role is also responsible for Safety and Training requirements within the Production Department in conjunction with the EHS & Training Representative for Operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supervising and development of a team of Quality Auditors.
Qualifications

Education
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2-year college degree or equivalent course work is preferred. Computer proficiency a must. Quality Control, Quality Auditor background and ISO9001 audits. Inventory/Warehouse related background and knowledge of internal engine parts preferred. Must have a high level of communication and documentation skills.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, procedure manuals, and part prints. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, customers, auditors and management of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure – using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills And Abilities
Must be able to ascertain how to react and successfully handle difficult situations. Intermediate to advanced knowledge required in computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Must be able to prioritize activities. Must be able to work under limited supervision, taking initiative when necessary. Must be well organized and detail oriented. International experience is preferred
