What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper For Newport Beach Area position at MAHLER PRIVATE STAFFING?
Our clients, who are new to the Newport Beach area, are looking for a highly experienced and refined housekeeper to maintain their luxurious home. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cleaning, organizing, and caring for fine living spaces, as well as assisting a busy mom with wardrobe management and travel preparation. This individual should also be comfortable driving, running errands, and helping with occasional dinner parties. Experience in arranging charcuterie boards is a bonus.
The general hours are Monday through Friday (9 : 30am start time) with flexibility to work around the principal's schedule, including an occasional weekend when the family entertains.
Compensation of $45-$50 / hour plus health benefits.
Responsibilities :
- Assume full responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the home.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and service providers.
- Maintain a project list and perform deep cleaning and organizational projects.
- Maintain all closets, perform all household laundry (including handwashing and ironing), and maintain the dry-cleaning log.
- Purchase groceries and household supplies and stock the home ahead of principal and guest arrivals and while they are in residence.
- Run errands as requested.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a housekeeper in a private residence or luxury hotel. Success in this role requires exceptional cleaning skills, including expertise in caring for fine materials and furnishings. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, and candidates must provide verifiable references from previous employers.
