A small busy medical office is seeking a full-time front desk receptionist.
Candidate should be able to multi-task, work well under pressure and able to adapt to daily changing atmosphere. S/He should be reliable, quick-learner, and good team-player.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Great knowledge and etiquette answering and directing calls.
- Answering busy phone with multiple lines
- Extensive knowledge of EHR/EMR software.
- Computer skills. Scanning. Printing.
- Managing patients’ charts by scanning and uploading documents into EHR, Electronic Medical Records.
- Scheduling appointments and checking patients in and out
- Collecting copayments/coinsurance
- Good knowledge about Health Insurances.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations.
- Obtaining all necessary demographic and financial information for each patient
- Professional communication with other staff
- Ability to commute to work. Or have reliable transportation.
Full Time Position 40h/WK M-F. No weekends
Hybrid schedule during inclement weather.
Starting pay rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
The ideal candidate must be motivated and have the ability to work independently. This is a very busy, fast-paced office.
