Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic around construction sites. This position requires strong communication skills and an understanding of construction site operations, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions for extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic flow around construction sites to ensure safety for both workers and drivers.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barriers.
- Communicate effectively with construction crew members and motorists using hand signals and flags.
- Monitor the work zone for hazards and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Assist in utility locating activities as needed to ensure safe digging practices.
- Collaborate with heavy equipment operators including those operating front loader trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, and dump trucks.
- Support paving operations by managing traffic around the work area.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on-site.
Skills
- Experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and the public.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.

Pay: $16.35 - $24.00 per hour
