Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to proper food handling and safety protocols.
- Buss tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process payments using the cash register, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks.
- Experience in food preparation and handling, ensuring compliance with health standards.
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems for order management.
