As an Associate with the Mahoney Business Solutions Team, you will perform a variety of accounting functions including:

• Preparing financial statements
• Performing account and bank reconciliations
• Performing bookkeeping services for clients
• Preparing required work papers to support related work product
• Becoming proficient with QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online accounting software
• Assisting clients relating to basic QuickBooks questions and accounting functions

Seasonal overtime may apply depending on arranged work schedule.

Education and Skill Set Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field and/or 1-3 years accounting experience
• Developing technical knowledge
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Team player with a positive - "can do" approach
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels and various clientele
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting and other small business accounting packages, ProSystem Tax, CCH Engagement experience a plus

Base pay range of $69,000 to $79,000 per year.
