We are looking for a Pump Route Driver to join our team. Pump drivers drive trucks with an 1800-to-4000-gallon capacity and will service many different routes in various areas so excellent driving / maneuvering skills are essential. This position may require driving in congested and / or confined areas. Drivers are exposed to extreme weather conditions. The hours and physical demand may vary by route or area. Schedule : Monday through Friday start time between 5 : 00 am and 7 : 00 am. 10 hour days. Starting salary between $28 - $30 an hour Eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive plan! You provide : Remove waste cooking oil from tanks and customer sites. Ability to handle 2" to 3" hoses pumping out used cooking oil materials into truck. Operate pump truck in a safe and professional manner. Clean area around tanks / traps. Perform pre and post trip inspections; checking for leaks, damage, proper operations, fuel etc. Follow DOT and safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. We require : A valid CDL B or A license with Tanker Endorsement. 3 years Commercial driving experience. Air Brake Endorsement. Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards. DOT certified medical card. Regular pushing and pulling with occasional lifting. Working Conditions : Work outdoors in different weather conditions. Exposure to used cooking oil odors. Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and / or tight driving areas.
