The Portfolio Management Platform Specialist assists with the day-to-day operational requirements to fulfill and execute the firm’s objectives. This position will ensure that various processes and controls are put into place and being followed and that service levels are being met. Assists in servicing existing and prospective clients.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is a resident “expert” on the Tamarac Reporting platform.
- Assists with Tamarac Reporting training of new employees, acquisitions, and rolling out enhancements to the firm.
- Acts as secondary contact for Advisors on questions and issues surrounding Tamarac Reporting
- Engages with the investment operations team to ensure Tamarac Reporting data is reliable to ensure a high degree of confidence in the data and that it meets client service levels.
- Engages with the investment operations team to create processes that are repeatable and reliable relating to the onboarding and delivery of client data in Tamarac Reporting.
- Participates in workflow design and generates reports for operations to identify errors. Provides documentation for identified problems, definition, and procedures for solving them.
- Collaborates with the Chief Investment Officer and head of Wealth Management for creating or modifying client dashboards and reports.
- Develops reports for business leaders to review and monitor investments and client accounts.
- Assists the Portfolio Management Platform Specialist with Tamarac Reporting related to enhancements and improvements to the system. (The Investment Operations team will be the primary responsible party for ensuring data transfer to Tamarac Reporting.)
- Research best practices to create an ongoing environment of constant improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 3 to 5 yrs. experience in an RIA/Investment Management Firm or other type of Financial Services.
- Strong working knowledge of various systems utilized by the firm, notably Tamarac, CRM and eMoney is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of private and public investments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CFA or CFP designation (or in progress), preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships; works effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic team-based, collaborative environment; works well with others and is also comfortable leading the effort when called upon.
- Ability to learn and develop reports for others.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on analyzing large amounts of data.
- Organized, highly detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Maintains flexibility to appropriately prioritize and execute to meet client and firm needs and support peak volumes and aggressive deadlines.
