Director of HCBS Compliance & Operations

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader in HCBS or Care Management to oversee a well-structured team and drive program growth. The Director of HCBS will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic expansion while leading a team that manages much of the day-to-day work.

The HCBS program is set to expand significantly, requiring a leader who can enhance outreach efforts, ensure seamless compliance with regulations, and strengthen internal operations . The Director will oversee multiple departments, including staffing, HR, billing, QA, and compliance, while also handling hiring, audits, and strategic planning.

This role requires expert knowledge of HCBS regulations , the ability to interpret compliance policies , and strong leadership skills to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a high-performing team while ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration across departments
• Stay ahead of new policies and laws, ensuring full compliance with HCBS regulations
• Lead hiring efforts, manage staffing needs, and ensure proper case handling
• Handle escalated cases with challenging parents when necessary
• Strengthen outreach efforts to increase the number of serviced families and grow the program
