About Us :
We are a dedicated group of 14 medical care coordinators managing 80-120 active patients, specializing in women's health—breast and gynecological cancers. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and advocacy, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care, including guidance on clinical trials and treatment options.
We are expanding our team of four to include a Yiddish-speaking care coordinator to enhance communication and advocacy for our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate medical appointments, treatments, and follow-ups for patients with breast and gynecological cancers.
- Develop a deep understanding of medical conditions, treatments, and clinical trials to advocate effectively for patients.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, offering emotional support.
- Act as an advocate, ensuring patients receive appropriate care and guidance, including exploring clinical trial options.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality care and a supportive environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Qualifications : Must-Haves :
Fluency in Yiddish .
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in patient advocacy or similar roles.
