RN Educator

$60/hr-$70/hr
A leading Home Care Company is seeking an RN Educator. The RN Educator will play a crucial role in educating and preparing future Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Advanced Care Directives (ACD) professionals. This position involves delivering comprehensive 40-hour training programs, evaluating student progress, and ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Delivery:
- Implement dynamic and engaging teaching methods for HHA and ACD training.
- Facilitate hands-on practice and simulation exercises.
- Student Evaluation and Support:
- Assess and provide feedback on student performance through tests and practical evaluations.
- Offer additional resources and guidance to support learning.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure training programs meet all legal and professional requirements.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and evaluations.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new students.
- Professional Development:
- Continuously enhance personal knowledge and teaching practices through workshops and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license.
- Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care experience; 1 year in home care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional technology.
- Familiarity with advanced care directives and home health regulations.
