A growing healthcare management company overseeing nine assisted living facilities and home care services is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day financial operations, billing coordination, and bookkeeping tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and Medicaid / insurance billing.
Responsibilities :
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple assisted living and home care entities.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Coordinate with billing and insurance teams to ensure Medicaid and other claims are processed and posted correctly.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, payment discrepancies, and outstanding balances.
- Process vendor payments, payroll tax payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Provide administrative support related to financial transactions, including mail distribution and occasional finance-related phone inquiries.
