_ Job Summary_
The Maid of the Mist is currently recruiting retail store floor clerks and cashiers to work full-time and part-time shifts during the 2025 tourist season from early April to late November. Summer and seasonal positions including daytime and evening shifts are available. This position’s primary focus is retail responsibilities including customer service, receiving, stocking, selling Maid of the Mist souvenir merchandise, and routine cleaning.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Store clerks are responsible for greeting and assisting customers.
- Store clerks are responsible for folding and ticketing merchandise
- Store clerks are responsible for lifting 25-35lb totes
- Store clerks are responsible for stocking and maintaining a busy retail sales floor
- Store cashiers are required, with training to proficiently operate a computer POS
- Store cashiers will assist on the sales floor and receive freight when needed
- Store clerks and cashiers will interact with the public on a daily basis
- Assist as requested as business needs dictate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the role applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
- Excellent communication skills working with visitors with diverse backgrounds and native languages
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, efficiency, productivity, and thorough task completion
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Perform tasks independently with limited or no direction
- The ability to work professionally with the public
- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
- Store cashiers must be able to maintain a stationary position throughout the shift
