Job Overview:
As a Residential & Commercial Cleaner at Maid Pretty Cleaning Services, your workday will be challenging and demanding. You will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning homes and businesses, including those that may be in extremely dirty conditions. Expect to encounter situations that others might find unpleasant. If you're someone who can handle tough tasks with a positive attitude, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Deep Cleaning: Vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing residential and commercial spaces.
- Handling Challenging Situations: Cleaning up bodily fluids (including human and pet feces), blood, vomit, and other unpleasant substances. You must be prepared to work in difficult conditions.
- Heavy Lifting & Physical Labor: Moving furniture, equipment, and other objects while thoroughly cleaning the area. Expect to bend, lift, and move all day long.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring spaces are cleaned to a high standard. We take pride in delivering quality work and expect that every task is completed with care.
- Client Interaction: Professionalism is required at all times. You’ll be working directly in people’s homes and businesses, so respect and confidentiality are crucial.
- Time Management: Completing jobs within the agreed-upon timeframe. You will be given tight deadlines and must be able to meet them while maintaining high-quality results.
Expectations:
- Work Hard: You will be physically tired at the end of each day. This isn’t a job for those who want to take it easy. We’re looking for workers who take pride in their hard work and strive for excellence.
- Own Vehicle: You’ll need a reliable vehicle to get to job sites. You are responsible for the cost of repairs, gas, and maintenance. You will be reimbursed a fixed amount monthly for vehicle expenses, but you must manage your vehicle yourself.
- Pass Drug Test: You will be required to pass a drug test before being hired.
- Availability: Our hours range from 8 am - 8 pm, depending on the job schedule. Most of our employees work 8 am - 2:30 pm. You must be available Sunday to Sunday, with limited days off. You will get five paid days off per year (vacation or sickness). Holidays like Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Labor Day are paid days off. Additionally, you will receive 8 hours of paid time off throughout the year to attend important events, such as your child's award ceremony or other personal commitments.
- High Standards: This is a high-pressure environment. We need workers who are determined to meet or exceed our KPI goals (Key Performance Indicators) and consistently deliver excellent service.
- Client Satisfaction: This is a performance-based business. Your bonus is tied directly to client satisfaction. Do a good job, and your bonus grows. If there are no complaints or losses, you earn a $50 bonus each week. Additionally, if you meet 95% of KPI expectations, you are eligible for quarterly bonuses.
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting Pay: $15 per hour with opportunity for bonuses based on client satisfaction.
- Weekly Bonus: $50 bonus if there are no client complaints or losses (potential for an extra $2,600 per year).
- Quarterly Bonus: Based on meeting 95% of KPIs, you will earn quarterly bonuses.
- Vehicle Reimbursement: Monthly reimbursement for vehicle-related expenses (gas, maintenance, etc.), to be agreed upon.
- Holidays Off: Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Labor Day with paid time off.
- Paid Time Off: Five paid days off per year, plus 8 additional hours to attend important personal events.
