A very sweet Mom in Cedarhurst, NY is looking for someone to help her with childcare and housekeeping. She has two children, ages 9 and 4 years old, and is expecting a baby in March. Her husband works long days, and she is at home all day. The right candidate will have experience in caring for a newborn, as well as be comfortable with older children, as she will be asked to walk the older children to and from school some days (a 5 minute walk). A housekeeper comes to deep clean the home regularly, so the cleaning required is maintenance cleaning rather than deep cleaning, and organizing.

Salary: $18 - $22/hour, based on skills and experience

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the 4 and 9 year old children after school when Mom is not available
- Walk the children to and from school when needed
- Engage the children in stimulating activities at times
- When the baby arrives, assist Mom in caring for the newborn when needed, including diapering, feeding and bathing
- Maintain and organize the home, including assisting with regular daily housekeeping tasks
Requirements:
- 1 year childcare experience, preferably including newborn experience
- References
- 1 Residential cleaning experience preferred
- Fluent English not required, but must be able to understand and communicate with the older children.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
