A really sweet family in Bergenfield, New Jersey is seeking a LIVE IN BABYSITTER/HOUSEKEEPER to support their family. The family consists of Mom, Dad, three year old twins, and 5, 7 and 9 year old children. The older children are all in school until 4-5 pm every day. The twins are home until September, when they will begin a school program. This role will be 90% focused on childcare until the twins start school. From September on, you will be alone in the house Monday - Friday 8 am - 4-5 pm , and that time will be spent cleaning, organizing and maintaining the family home. The family's previous babysitter/housekeepers were all with them for four years or more, and they are looking for their next long term "family member". They treat the people who work with them like family, and truly want you to be happy in the position.
Location: Bergenfield, NJ
Schedule: Sunday - Friday
Salary: $950 - $1,000 to start
Benefits: Paid vacation, paid holidays
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of the twins during the day, while engaging them in stimulating and age-appropriate activities, such as the park, library and other local activities
- Supervise and assist with the older children when they return from school
- Assist Mom and Dad through the dinner/bath/bedtime routine
- Assist with housekeeping tasks while the twins are napping or not under your care
- When the twins begin school in September, this role will shift to one that is 50/50 housekeeping and childcare
Requirements:
- 1 year of childcare experience, preferably as a live- in caregiver or in a home setting
- Prior experience with twins preferred.

- Conversational English - must understand and speak English without the assistance of a translator app
