If you’re passionate about education, energized by young learners, and excited to grow under the mentorship of an experienced teacher, this is the classroom you’ve been looking for. This is an ideal role for someone currently in a credentialing or liberal studies program, or a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and inspiring environment. You’ll be working side-by-side with a lead teacher, helping create joyful, structured, and meaningful learning experiences for our elementary students. You’ll be invited into planning, encouraged to build strong relationships with students, and supported as you develop your voice as an educator. This is a place to grow your skills, find your rhythm, and discover just how fun and rewarding elementary teaching can be. Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating closely with a mentor teacher and grade-level team
• Supporting a positive classroom environment built on respect and encouragement
• Helping deliver instruction, provide feedback, and guide student growth
• Modeling and reinforcing high expectations for behavior and effort
• Learning classroom management strategies and instructional techniques in real time
• Showing up with curiosity, professionalism, and a love for kids

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone enrolled in or recently graduated from a teacher education program
• A bachelor’s degree (or working toward one in a dual degree/credential program)
• A warm, collaborative spirit and a growth mindset
• A love of elementary-aged kids and an appreciation for both their brilliance and their occasional lunchtime debates over which crayon is really "sky blue"

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM
