The Construction Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor crews to ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Utilize construction management software for tracking project progress, managing resources, and documenting changes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control; address any issues that arise promptly.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to interpret schematics and project specifications effectively.
- Prepare construction estimates and budgets; manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement effective communication strategies among team members to facilitate smooth operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge in Tilt Up Concrete Construction and Commercial Concrete Construction
- Proficient in using Prolog and other construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Strong skills in quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Experience in construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets for projects.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively for successful project execution.
- Knowledge of project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Provide weekly documentation material and progress of the projection (Pour log, Supplier, Daily & Weekly Report.)
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Spanish speaking preferred
