Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage the flow of guests in the restaurant, assist with seating arrangements, and handle cash transactions with accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with experience in food service environments.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with menus.
- Manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest experience.
- Take food orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Toast POS.
- Process cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling payments.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to enhance guest services and overall dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
