The work you do makes a tremendous impact on the patient experience. You will have a choice to work in Wynnewood (Lankenau Hospital), Bryn Mawr (Bryn Mawr Hospital), or Media (Riddle Hospital).
We’re looking for motivated, experienced Diet Clerks with superior customer service skills to assist the Food Services Team. As a Diet Clerk, you work in an office and assist our patients over the phone, in the ordering of their meals and recording in the computer system as to what was consumed and any diet changes.
Hourly Rate & Available Shifts
- Starts at $16.00, rate commensurate with experience.
- Shift Differential starting at 3pm: $1.50/hr in addition to the hourly rate
- Shifts: Full time and part time opportunities available. First and second shift. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required.
Required Experience & Education
- Previous food service experience in a health care environment with a knowledge of therapeutic diets a must
- Previous diet clerk experience a must
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Must possess keyboarding skills and proficiency in using an electronic medical records system.
- Must possess the ability to lead a team and resolve conflict
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate English sufficiently to perform required duties.
- Effective communication/interpersonal skills required
