OVERVIEW:

The James Baldwin Place Recovery Coach plays a critical role in helping participants maintain their sobriety and achieve long-term recovery. Working with the program’s management team, case managers and peer specialists, the Recovery Coach helps case managers and participants develop individualized treatment and recovery plans, short and long term goals, connects participants with recovery resources, and assists them in overcoming obstacles that may hinder their progress.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help participants access community resources such as permanent housing, employment, mental health services, treatment centers, and other support services
  • Provide support during challenging situations, including emotional support and guidance during times of relapse or potential relapse.

  • Ensure accurate record keeping, incident reports, and compliance with confidentiality regulations
