Custodial Campus Technician

The Franklin Yard is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our facilities team as a Campus Detail Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to ensuring cleanliness across all areas of the campus which include The Main Street Abbey, The Principal Hotel, Graphite, The Rectory and Convent building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of all campus areas, including the restaurant, kitchen, offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and outdoor spaces
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
• Handle deep-cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, waxing floors, cleaning windows, and shampooing carpets
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with campus policies
• Replenish supplies in restrooms and other designated areas as needed
• Inspect and report maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, leaks, or other hazards
• Follow and enforce all safety and cleaning protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Assist with special projects or events, including setup and teardown, as required
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or detail cleaning roles is a plus
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to manage time effectively
  
  

Work Environment:

• The role requires work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts based on campus needs
