- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify issues and develop repair plans.
- Repair and replace faulty parts, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and adjustments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance procedures performed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology through continuous training and professional development.
- Proven experience as a Diesel Auto Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
- Certification from a recognized automotive training program is a plus.
