Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employees and managers across multiple locations by overseeing key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR policies and best practices.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues in alignment with company policies and employment laws.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-location or service-based industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
- Paycor experience preferred
- Greenhouse experience preferred
- HireRight experience preferred
