Summer Special Needs Teacher
for Summer Camp June 23-August 29, 2025
$17-18 per hour
Mon- Friday
9am-3pm
PreK-7th grade, must be flexible.
Possible one on one with Kindergarten aged children.

Job Description:
To plan and implement learning activities for children and oversee their day to day care while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety and welfare of the children and staff.
Qualifications/Experience:
The positions require at least two years of experience working with children who have special needs ranging from those on the spectrum to those with behavioral needs, CDA/college degree preferred, valid driver’s license and own car. First Aid and CPR certified a plus!

Responsibilities:
-Safety and well-being of the children and staff
-Compliance with current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures
-Facility and classroom maintenance
-Care and education of children
-Lesson plans- options for small groups of children to do in a group or one on one depending on the need of the child, this position may be pulling children out of the camp setting who need a break for a short period of time and returning them to their team.
Qualifications:
- One more years of center experience highly preferred.
- Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
- CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred.
- Must meet state specific guidelines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
