We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Market Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and helping with the receipt and processing of market product orders. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Offer product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Restocking and Cleaning:
Restock shelves and displays with new merchandise.
Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, shelves, and checkout areas.
Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to keep the store environment clean and safe.
Products and Orders:
Receive and process Market product orders as they arrive.
Verify the accuracy of orders against delivery manifests.
Inspect incoming products for damages or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor.
Organize and store products in the appropriate sections of the store.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
Must have strong work experience, work history, and good references.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
Schedule:
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary:
Range: $16 to $20 per hour, plus tips; based on experience
