Description
Perform any task to maintain linen wash, fold and iron. Dining room table cloths, napkins, sheets, pillow cases, towels, robes, blankets, bedspreads and duvet of the hotel in general.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash tablecloths, napkins, towels, pool towels, sheets, blankets, duvets.
- Iron sheets, pillow cases, tablecloths and napkins
- Fold towels, robes, blankets, bedspreads, duvets
- Wash and dry laundry bags from Housekeeping and dining room
- Clean laundry room at end of shift (Sweep, mop, clean lint from dryers and ironer)
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
Requirements:
Experience: at least 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Skills: Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
Physical:
- Ability to pick up 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant work experience a plus
• Friendly demeanor and good customer service skills needed
