The Role: Produce Clerk
Responsibilities:
- Curate and maintain a diverse selection of fresh produce.
- Oversee merchandising.
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on produce selection and care.
- Stock fresh fruit and vegetable displays, inspect produce for damage and help customers find specific types of produce.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a produce role is preferred.
- Knowledge of different fruits, vegetables, and their seasonality.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
