Main Street Realty is looking for a positive and energetic Leasing Consultant for the DC area. We are looking for candidates that can turn leads into leases, create unique and memorable experiences for every prospect and resident, and have the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks. Ideal candidates will be professional, proactive, friendly and superb in sales. Some responsibilities of Leasing Consultants will include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Present apartments, houses or other properties to prospective clients in a persuasive manner
- Assist residential landlords in discovering suitable tenants
- Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques
- Evaluate clients’ requirements and financial prosperity to make personalized presentations
- Provide accurate information on the different features of properties
- Validate application information and references
- Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements
- Keep abreast of the property market status
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically
- Field incoming calls from prospects and residents alike
Skills
- Proven track record of successful sales
- Basic understanding of MS Office
- Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
- Customer-focused approach
Normal Work Schedule: 4 days per week (25 hours) with Sunday and two weekdays off. Will be required to work Saturdays.
