Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our growing organization. As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company and ensuring its smooth functioning. You will afford the CEO to predominantly focus on new business and relationship generation. You will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, managing budgets and finances, leading managers, and implementing operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

We ask of you to work a minimum of 3 consistent days a week within the office. You will also run weekly Profit Center meetings over Zoom or in person.

Duties

Compliment CEO as Integrator; provide senior leadership and guidance to all departments within the organization
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
Oversee budgeting and financial management activities
Supervise and mentor department heads to ensure effective performance
Manage overall operations, including program management, process improvement, and project management
Identify opportunities for business development and growth
Lead efforts in strategic planning and execution to drive organizational success
Lead recruiting for new seller territory directors

Qualifications

Proven experience in media or publishing in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO or similar position

Strong background in budgeting, financial management, and operations management

Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams

Demonstrated expertise in program management, process improvement, and project management

Sound knowledge of business development strategies and implementation

Proficient in strategic planning and execution

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
