Tow Truck Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and the ability to handle various towing situations with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to safely transport vehicles.
• Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring minimal damage during the process.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs.
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
• Manage conflicts that may arise during towing operations or roadside assistance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the tow truck.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
• Assist in minor mechanical repairs when necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and basic mechanical skills is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts may be beneficial for certain towing scenarios.
• Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,500.00 per hour
