The Town of Wolfeboro, NH is looking to fill the position of Director of Planning and Development. Wolfeboro is a vibrant and diverse community on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. The Director of Planning and Development is responsible for the administration and management of the Planning and Development Department. This includes planning the Town's future in areas including land-use, transportation, economic development, natural resource protection, and maintenance and enhancement of Wolfeboro's special character and quality of life. It is also responsible for zoning administration and enforcement, conservation administration, inspections, and code enforcement. The Department is staffed with two full-time employees, one (1) Administrative Assistant and one (1) Code Enforcement Officer.
This Director of Planning and Development shall hold a Master’s Degree in Planning, Public Administration, or a related field. We will consider candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree having applicable experience and are a fit with the community. The salary range is $81,120 - $93,600 negotiable for the right candidate DOQ/E. This position is full-time, on-site based on 40 hours per week, and offers an exceptional benefits package. A copy of the job description is available on the Town website for this position.
