The Academic Studies Program at Maine College of Art & Design seeks to develop a pool of part-time faculty to teach Natural Science classes within our BFA Program.
Position Summary And Responsibilities
Contingent upon student enrollment and funding availability, appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis. Positions are annually renewable, contingent upon curriculum need, funding, and faculty performance. Appointments are normally made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a yearlong appointment may be made. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon funding and performance. This is an in-person position.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in a natural-science discipline or a related field and a record of teaching excellence are preferred. MA-only considered.
